What is Roaringsheep?

My name is Nikki and I am the single mind behind "Roaringsheep". You are probably wondering where the name "Roaringsheep" came from as soon as you heard the name. Well, as a kid I grew up with sheep. No, I was not raised by them, but instead lived on a ranch where they resided with me.

One day, my uncle decided he wanted to feed our sheep and so we figured sure, why not? As soon as my uncle walked through the pasture gates, his fate was sealed. As he went to pet our only buck he made a bad decision of turning his back towards our sweet little lamb.

As my uncle turned and bent over to pick up a bucket of alfalfa for the sheep, the buck took him down faster than a bowling ball heading towards a set of pins. Beneath that fluffy exterior was a pushy beast, as my uncle learned...literally.

So thanks to my sweet little lamb, I combined the tiger-like hidden attitude of sheep and my love of them to come up with "Roaringsheep". Roaringsheep represents my soft and squishy human exterior and my strong inner passion for design.

Three new additions to the Print category have been added today. Included in the recent update are two magazine ads and a product box design. I really enjoyed working on these projects and actually, this was my first box design, but it certainly will not be my last. Currently I just finished two more retail box designs and am working on a fourth one.

In other web related news, I plan to have Roaringsheep.com's blog up soon and I know many of you are still waiting for more news on my nonprofit outreach program. Time has been a bit of a problem for me and due to this, there will be some delays on the release, so for those who are really anxious, please feel free to email me directly for more details regarding the outreach program.

Roaringsheep.com needed a complete makeover and thus, here it is, a brand spankin' new layout. Not too shabby, right?

Some new additions to Roaringsheep.com that are soon to come will be a graphic's category, blog and some information about my outreach project to help nonprofit organizations with all their design needs.

On a final note, it is great to be back and I appreciate all of you out there who have been keeping up with me. May your pasture's be green.
